Your hair is one of the most immediately obvious aspects of your appearance, so how your hair looks can have a huge impact on your self-esteem. Hair can suffer from damages and become more prone to breaking when it’s constantly brushed, styled, or treated with chemicals.
If your hair seems to break all the time, try one of these three simple, all-natural home remedies. They can all be made with items you probably already have in the kitchen, and one of them will most likely work for you.
1. The Hot Oil Treatment
In a small, microwave-safe bowl, microwave 6 tablespoons of olive oil until it is warm, but not too hot to touch. At the same time, get a towel warm by tossing it in the dryer.
When the olive oil is the right temperature, use your fingertips to work it into your hair, starting at the scalp and working toward the tips. Then, take the warm towel, wrap it around your head, and leave it in place for 30 minutes.
After the 30 minutes are up, shampoo your hair as you normally do.
2. The Egg Yolk And Olive Oil Treatment
This is similar to the above treatment, except that it only requires 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and the oil doesn’t need to be heated. Instead, separate an egg and mix just the egg yolk into the oil with a whisk or a fork. Then, wet your hair and apply the mixture to it. This mixture should be placed mostly on the ends of your hair, avoiding your scalp.
Again, leave this treatment in for about half an hour, and then shampoo your hair to remove it. This treatment may be used weekly for one month to strengthen and repair broken hair.
3. The Vitamin E Treatment
This home remedy for hair breakage is simple and quick to apply, as long as you have Vitamin E capsules on hand.
