3. Fat-Free Greek Yogurt With Berries
Full of protein and rich in B-vitamins, Greek yogurt is a great snack before working out. Add in some berries, and you’ve got a combination that will fuel your exercise without filling you up.
The combination of carbs and protein may also help you burn fat better during your workout, as well as give you the energy you need for peak performance.
Got an early morning workout time? Oatmeal goes down easy and gives long lasting energy without weighing you down. Add a bit of fruit, and you’ve got something that will get you going fast and keep you powered for the duration.

7. Trail Mix
Trail mix is one of the easiest things to grab and go with you on the way to the gym; you can eat it on the bus or in the car. The mix of sweet dried fruits and protein rich nuts or seeds is perfect for providing the energy you need for a substantial exercise session.
Just be careful with pre-packaged mixes; make sure you avoid those with too much sugar, salt or preservatives. Best option – buy nuts and dried fruits and make you’re own!
