Step #1: Combine ½ cup of extra-virgin olive oil with your favorite essential oil, such as rosemary or lavender. Mix well. Let stand for 24 hours in a cool, dark place.

Step #2: Pour 1 tablespoon of this mixture into your palm. Warm the mixture by rubbing your hands together.

Step #3: Use your fingertips to massage the mixture into your hair. Moving your fingertips in a circular motion, work from your scalp to the tips of your hair.

Step #4: Fasten a plastic bag over your hair with an elastic headband. Allow 30 minutes for the treatment to work.

Step #5: Rinse the mixture out of your hair, then shampoo.
