Hosted by the new “X-Factor” judge Demi Lovato, as well as “Glee” star Kevin McHale, this year’s Teen Choice Awards 2012 was a special one for the Twilight saga, as the supernatural franchise swept a whooping 41 awards since 2008, including 2 awards it received in the evening for the film installment, “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1″.

Besides the Twilight saga, Taylor Swift also made History by being the first ever female artist to snap up a total of 20 surfboard-shaped trophies (she was named the winner of 5 awards in the evening, including “Choice Female Artist”, as well as “Choice Country Artist”).
