1. Choose Raw
Raw is often best when it comes to vegetables and fruits. Eating these foods in their natural state without cooking or heating maintains their enzyme and nutritional levels so they can do the most good.
It’s not just cooking you should worry about as the fresher the food the greater will be their level of natural vitamins. Organic produce is free of the toxic pesticides and herbicides so you avoid ingesting these into your system as well.
Most fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, pulses, and seeds are all good examples of foods that are more nutritional if left uncooked.

To combat the free radicals we need to make sure we have a steady supply of antioxidants in our bodies. Green tea, blueberries, and goji berries are all foods known to have excellent levels of these beneficial compounds.

3. Dry Brushing Your Skin
It’s a good idea to dry brush your skin not just to remove dead skin cells but it also stimulates blood and lymph flow. This helps facilitate waste removal from your living skin cells – and then out of your system via the usual channels.
Dry brushing is best done with a bathing brush to lightly exfoliate. Use smooth brushing motions on all parts of your body, and always brush toward your heart to ensure the blood is moving in the correct direction.
4. Exercise Regularly
Exposing your body to a vigorous workout keeps your fitness levels on track but also goes beyond the realms of weight loss as it also helps to boost your moods, increase energy levels, clarify your thinking, and is a great aid in disease prevention for a myriad of afflictions.
The physical exertion also boosts the cleansing operations of your body including the lungs and sinuses. Excessive sweating also has the advantage of helping to remove quite a lot of toxins out of your body which you then wash down the drain while showering.
5. Get More Fiber In Your Diet
Fiber is a powerhouse nutrient for keeping your digestive system intact and working well, and as such makes a terrific natural detox.
Increasing your fiber intake has the added benefit of helping your body rid itself of waste materials such as preservatives and other toxins; all of which have the unpleasant ability to build up in your intestinal tract over time.
Whole grain cereals, rice, pasta, fresh fruit and vegetables (leave the skin on as much as possible), lentils, almonds, and beans are all excellent examples of fiber rich foods.
Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of green tea, hot lemon water, or filtered water during breakfast or first thing after you wake. The extra hydration not only helps your body flush toxins out of its system, but also keeps your metabolism in high gear and clears up your skin.
Hot lemon water is also good for eliminating toxins and bacteria from the skin.
